Introduction
Hardware Configuration is used for SmartPour, where you will be able to apply settings for SmartPours that are registered or allocated to your entity.
Create A New Configuration Preset
To create a new configuration preset, you can:
Steps | ||

1 | Head to ‘Configuration’ under Hardware Management | |
2 | Select ‘Add Action’ and click ‘Create Configuration’ | |

3 | Choose a hardware type for the configuration (i.e. SmartPour) | |
| ||
4 | Fill in all the necessary details for the configuration and select ‘Create’ | |
| ||
5 | If successful, you can select one of the 2 available options to continue
| |

View Configuration Preset
To view an existing configuration preset, you can:

Edit Configuration Preset
To edit a configuration preset, you can:

2 | View any existing Configuration Preset | |

3 | Select ‘Manage’ and click ‘Edit Configuration’ | |
| ||
4 | Edit the necessary fields that you require for the configuration and select ‘Save' to confirm the changes | |
| ||
5 | If successful, you will be redirected to the Hardware Configuration Preset Profile | |
Apply Bulk Configuration Preset
To apply bulk configuration preset to a set of hardware, you can:

1 | Head to ‘Configuration’ under Hardware Management | |
2 | Select ‘Add Action’ and click ‘Apply Configuration to Hardware’ | |

3 | Select the Configuration to proceed | |
| ||
4 | Select the site where the hardware for your configuration preset will be applied and click ‘Continue’ to proceed | |
| ||
5 | View the instructions for the SmartPour setup before selecting ‘Start Scanning’ | |
| ||
6 | Scan the hardware which you would like to apply this configuration preset to either by QR Code, NFC or Manual Input | |
| ||
7 | Once you have completed, select ‘Continue’ | |
8 | Review the scanned hardware and ensure that any invalid hardware codes are removed before selecting ‘Continue’ | |
| ||
9 | Review the Apply Configuration Report and fill in any additional remarks | |
| ||
10 | Select ‘Continue’ once you have completed and proceed to apply the hardware configuration | |
11 | If you have successfully applied the Configuration Preset to the hardware, you can select one of the 2 available options to continue

Apply Configuration Preset to a Hardware
To apply configuration preset to a Hardware, you can:
Steps | ||

1 | Head to ‘Tracking’ under Hardware Management | |
2 | View a Hardware Profile (i.e. SmartPour) | |
3 | Select ‘Manage’ and click ‘Apply a Configuration Preset’ | |
| ||
4 | Choose an existing Configuration Preset to apply to the hardware and select ‘Apply’ | |
| ||
5 | Proceed to confirm the application of the preset | |
| ||
6 | If successful, you will be redirected to the Hardware Profile page | |
7 | You can now view the configuration settings under the ‘Configuration’ tab for the hardware profile | |
